Dan & Galla Musical show
Dan & Galla Musical Show is a favorite of fairs, festivals and special events throughout Pennsylvania. Upbeat, family-friendly and interactive, their performances feature “feel-good” music from the ‘50s & ‘60s, country, patriotic, polkas, Russian to ragtime, calypso and more. Often surrounded by kids hula hooping, the audience playing tambourines or blowing bubbles, their love of music and positive energy appeal to all ages.
In addition to their stage shows, watch for their “Party Cart” bringing “Music to the Midway”. Galla plays guitar, flute, balalaika and ukulele and Dan is an accomplished pianist and plays keyboards, accordion and trumpet. Theirs is a unique sound with strong harmony and they are asked back year after year to annual events and fairs. Touring mostly in Pennsylvania and occasionally in the Midwest, this husband and wife have also performed in Nashville, New Orleans and are off to Kentucky this summer. Cross Creek the Band is a Country/Southern Rock band from a small town in West Virginia. The band has six members, four of which are brothers and two good friends. Initially the group enjoyed playing guitars around a campfire. It wasn’t until they were inspired by the Poverty Neck Hillbillies; they made the decision to put a band together.
The group is made up of a veteran of the US Air Force Reserves, a veteran of the Navy, two Firefighters one of which is an EMT and another is a local police officer. This goes without saying, they are proud supporters! Having the honor to perform for the 911th Air Force Reserves Flight Engineers gave them the opportunity to show their appreciation! This inspiration along with the many memories of growing up on their family farm has helped the group write a few original songs.
The guys naturally bleed Black & Gold – all things Pittsburgh. When the group is not playing music, you can find the guys watching the Penguins, Steelers or Pirates.
Cross Creek enjoys performing but appreciates the love and support their family, friends and fans have provided. Without them, the group would not be where they are today.
Saturday, Sept. 7th. @ 2:30
